My name is Anna Marine and I'm an professional illustrator and alt model. I've been born and raised in Moscow and Prague (my grandma lives there). I like to draw since the childhood (I don't remember myself without pencils and brushes in hands
My area of creativity - mysticism, gothic style, folklore and others. I like to read and have a great interest in mythology and mysticism that has influenced on my art.

I'm romantic, thoughtful and little bit sad girl...love rains, autumn, silent cemeteries, beautiful places, coffee, ancient novels,The Victorian era..

In 2009 my artwork was featured in the book "Amazing Pencil Portraits"(USA). My artwork has also been marketed digitally by CILM and after,CDO company. In 2010 I started collaborating with the French publishers, Editions-cauchemars and writer Cecile Guillot. I also collaborated with "Mystic Memories" specializing on sale of bath and body productions.

I was featured in different magazines - "Le fantastique au feminin" and "JitZul","Les Soupirs de Ligeia","iFamous","FAE magazine","Suspens magazine","Nothing to nobody" "fIXE magazine" and others.

I work with the largest Russian publishers, AST, for which I'm creating covers for authors,C. Harris, P.Briggs, J.Rardin, K.Richardson, C.M. Green, N. A.Collins,R.Hart and others.

In June 2011 I got my own iphone app that sells on iTunes.

I'm really interested in any job concerning to art, but especially in:

- Traditional gothic and dark fantasy painting

- Cover artwork for music bands.

- Book's covers

- Illustration for websites,advertising,clothes and etc.

- Tattoo design

I'm also able to do traditional painting comissions.

Since 2011 I also work as alt model.

I did promotional photoshoot for Kristall Skull jewellery company

I'm model for DirtyShirty clothes and I'm official DirtyShirty girl

I was featured in the MAXIM magazine Espanol in October 2011

Fairy Jewelry?

You (my customers) said you are looking for fairy jewelry, around what price would you be willing to pay for the jewelry? I am asking this because I have seen some real quality pieces but they would of course be more expensive than the more costume type. I carry Selina Fenech's antique cameo pendants and these are gorgeous and high quality. I have also ordered cheaper necklaces by another company before and the lower quality shows. Porcelain Garden has come up with a NEW Product - Sculpted Impressions tiles. I have been sent a preview of what these great tiles will look like.

David Delamare's artwork is not available on multi-color ceramic tiles except for large tiles murals. So this is a chance for fans of his artwork to be able to display his art outside of print form.

Each of these tiles are 6x6 inches in size, they are available in 3 different colors and they feature an easel back. They would retail for $32.95.

About the Artist:

I am a mother of two great teen sons, the wife to the BEST hubby ever, the caregiver for our infant niece, the keeper of a menagerie of critters, and a child of God...the first and best creator of all!

I still live in the same small town I was raised in and although it has grown into a busy, noisy little place, I would have a hard time calling any other place home.

I love tang, pizza, puffin'corn...and every other 'not-so-healthy-snack' out there, but I'm working hard to change that. =)

I count my family and many friends among the sweetest blessings that God has ever given me!

And I credit several close artist friends for being a constant source of encouragement and for mentoring me along the way. Thank you Holly, Carmen, Lisa and Sara!

How it began:

My introduction to art and illustration came at an early age. As a young girl, summers were spent with my grandmother at her shop of handcrafted wonders in Eagles Mere, PA. An artist of portraits, landscapes, and needlepoint design, Gramma McHenry offered patient guidance and an abundance of encouragement, showing me that there was a magical world waiting in the mind of an artist and in the eye of the viewer and that talents were a God-given gift not to be wasted.

About the art:

The main bulk of my work is created with a mixture of watercolor, colored pencils and acrylics on either Stonehenge or Montval cold press. The paintings generally range in size from ACEO's (2.5"x3.5") to 8"x10", but I have worked larger and SMALLER.

Currently, on the drawing board, is a piece measuring 9"x21 1/8".

Mainly, my subjects fall into the fantasy realm...unicorns, dragons, fairies and mermaids and the beloved Mouser-kins™ , a character line that I have developed and am having great fun working with.

I also work as a freelance children 's illustrator, in various styles and mediums, for both print and online publications.

The only rule I like to follow when creating ANYTHING is that...the final piece...has to make someone SMILE!

Fairy Sweet Sixteen Birthday Party

I have came up with some ideas for those of you looking for a Fairy Inspired Sweet Sixteen Birthday Party.

I don't know how involved you want to get with this theme so here goes...

1. You can buy our fairy cards to use as her invitations to this party (we do take special orders).
2. A fairy print or poster could work as a guestbook. You can have everyone sign it as they arrive so she has a keepsake to frame of the event.
3. You can have everyone dress up like a fairy or ask them to dress up in a nice ball gown and reserve the fairy wings only for your daughter.
4. Make sure you have a nice fantasy or garden like backdrop for pictures.
5. If the sky is the limit, an evening carriage ride for guests and the birthday girl would be so fairytale like.
6. If the party is going to have male guests ask that they dress accordingly also, in suits or something nice.
7. For the cake you can have a tall one with tiers and a fairy figurine or a fairy ornament sitting on top.

If you are wanting something more casual...

1. You can have a fairy tea party. Use the ideas from 1 and 2 above.
2. Everyone can dress up in a skirt or dress and the birthday girl can wear fairy wings.
3. You can have the girls take turns painting each other's faces like a fairy with sparkles and such.
4. Another option is to have fairy temporary tattoos for them to use.
5. For the decorations think flowers and garden style.
6. They can even picnic on the floor if you have a nice blanket or something for them to sit on.

These are just some ideas for you to use. I actually did the casual fairy tea party for my girls birthday. It was a hit. (Of course my girls are much younger and they had everyone dress up like their favorite princess).

"Lithophanes were conceived in 1827, when it was discovered that a remarkable three dimensional image could be produced by shining light through a carving of varied thicknesses in porcelain. These beautiful transparencies are achieved by first carving the image into beeswax. The translucency of the wax allows the artist to see the result of his labor as he works. A plaster casting is taken from this masterwork, then a fine porcelain paste is pressed into this mold. After drying, the panels are kiln fired to 2300 degrees, to achieve their extreme density and amazing translucency. Over half do not survive this process; a testimony to the difficulty of this technique. We are dedicated to the preservation and continuation of this most unusual art form."

The Artist behind the Art

Sue Miller was raised Susan Pacheco in South Dartmouth Massachusetts. She began painting at a young age and was inspired by her artist father Tony Pacheco. She graduated from Dartmouth High School and attended South Eastern Massachusetts University (now called University of Massachusetts), where she studied fine arts. Sue also had private art lessons with legendary painters Milton Healey and Rachel Farrington and Margret La-shoot.

Sue enjoyed a career of 20 years as a professional graphic artist. She worked in advertising agencies, art departments, newspaper art departments, department store art departments etc. During these years as a graphic artist, Sue was able to express her creativity on the job.

She considers herself lucky to have been able to draw and design daily for so many years.

Today Sue runs her own business called The Magic Palette Art Studio where she has taught thousands of students to draw and paint for the past 15 years.

In addition to art lessons that she teaches out of her home studio, Sue is almost always involving her creativity to paint in some capacity every day. For Sue this can mean the preparation involved in beginning a new project or putting a brush to canvas. She has been known to be working on two paintings at one time. A day without painting in some faculty is like a day without water for Sue.

Sue’s work has been published in countless magazines and E-zines. She has also been blessed to with Authors to provide the cover art for their children’s books.

A visit to Sue’s home or online gallery will have you immediately drawn to the diversity of her art. Her paintings include a variety of subjects from angels, fairies, elves, nature, wildlife, children and pets. You will also notice that Sue especially enjoys painting the seasons. There is a vast collection of art to cover every Holiday of the year. Sue’s models of her paintings are often her art students and her nieces that help bring about the humanistic qualities that adorn her art.

She resides in Northwestern New Jersey with her husband of 25 years, musician Vern Miller and their “baby” autumn their golden retriever. Their home has been quoted by many people and popular newspapers as “The house of art and music”

My childhood was spent always in pursuit of something magical and mythical. As a young adult, I studied both fine art and photography at Arizona State University. For over 20 years I chronicled my imagination with paint, pencil, ink, clay and film. All my life, I have viewed this world with the eyes of an artist and my love of fantasy has never waned.
I now blend my talents as both artist and photographer and through technology I am able to meld them together, creating an ethereal world where all are welcome to venture.

All elements of my art are original. I do all of my own photography including the models and backgrounds. I love to spend time traveling and I take these opportunities to photograph all of my backgrounds. I explore every nook until I find secret places overlooked by most people.
All the fantasy elements such as the glowing fairy wings are digitally painted by me and the costumes are handmade and designed by me, as well.
Merging my imagination with reality, fantasy becomes real.

RACHEL ANDERSON

"I have been fascinated with the world of fantasy since I was little when my parents began reading me books like Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz. From then on my imagination was incurably overactive. At an early age I began attempting to bring all the characters and stories in my head to life on paper. But it was not until more recently that I actually began to really learn the basics and improve my skill as an artist. Now I could not imagine doing anything else.

I live with my wonderfully supportive husband, son, and a very crazy kitty named Stella. We love taking walks in the woods and trails near our home, and they are a constant source of inspiration to me. I can't help but imagine little pixies hiding around every tree, and secret doorways to magical worlds in large old trees. I have so many ideas, and I hope that someday I will be able to create them all."
